(19/12/23) Onyx Hospitality will expand its Shama serviced apartments brand next year with at least five properties scheduled to open in 2024.
The five new Shama serviced apartments, available for both short and extended stays, include the Shama Hub Metro South in Hong Kong; Shama Hub Qiantang in China; Shama Luxe Sathorn in Bangkok, Thailand; as well as the Shama Medini and Shama Suasana Johor Bahru in Malaysia.

With over 50 years of experience, Onyx is expanding the Shama brand to cater to the growing demand for flexible accommodation that comes with all the amenities of a home away from home, but with the additional services one would expect from a quality hotel such as daily housekeeping, concierge services and more.

Onyx currently operates a total of 16 Shama properties, including 6 in Thailand, 6 in Hong Kong, and 4 in mainland China.
