KOTA KINABALU (Nov 19): Timor Leste is keen to strengthen bilateral trade relations with Sabah, especially in agriculture.
Timor Leste Ambassador to Malaysia, Lisualdo Gaspar, during a meeting with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor at the sideline of the State Assembly sitting on Tuesday, expressed his country’s interest in exploring greater trade cooperation with Sabah.
He also invited Sabah to look into business opportunities in Timor Leste.
Gaspar was accompanied by Invest Sabah chairman Tan Sri Anifah Aman and Borneo Corporation Chief Executive Officer Dr Nasir Latiff.
