JOHOR BAHRU, May 15 — A male technician was found dead, believed to have been murdered, in an apartment here Wednesday.
Johor Bahru Selatan district police chief ACP Raub Selamat said his team received a report regarding the incident at around 11.12 pm.
He said the initial investigation found that the victim was 33 years old.
“The victim was found lying in a pool of blood and was pronounced dead at around 10.50 pm (the same day),” he said in a statement yesterday.
Raub said the police also found a knife next to the victim, which is believed to have been used in the incident.
According to him, further investigations are being conducted to identify the motive of the incident and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
