KOTA KINABALU (Aug 26): Sabah police are offering a 50 percent discount on selected traffic summonses in conjunction with the National Day, Sabah Day, and Malaysia Day 2025 celebrations.
Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief ACP Kasim Muda said the three-day discount, from Aug 28 to 30, will be available between 9am and 4pm at the Sabah Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) and all district police headquarters (IPD).
However, he noted that not all summonses qualify for the rebate. Excluded are those involving accidents, Op Selamat, non-compoundable offences, court cases, heavy vehicles, dangerous or queue-cutting overtakes, misuse of emergency lanes, running red lights, overtaking on double lines, and illegal exhaust modifications.
