The Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day Run brings Malaysians together for a nutritious and active start to the morning with strong on-ground participation.
KUALA LUMPUR (May 20): The highly anticipated Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day (MBD) 2026 is set to return with a nationwide series of events promoting healthier breakfast habits and active lifestyles among Malaysians.
This year’s edition is expected to bring together more than 70,000 participants across six states, reinforcing the brand’s long-standing commitment to nutrition, wellness and community engagement.
Milo Malaysia said the campaign has evolved beyond a running event into a nutrition-led platform encouraging families and communities to adopt healthier daily routines through active participation and education.
The nationwide series will kick off in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on May 24, following a fully sold-out response.
The programme will then continue to Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu; Kuching, Sarawak; Kuantan, Pahang; and Kota Bharu, Kelantan before concluding with a grand finale in Putrajaya on July 12.
Registration opened on April 13, with participants encouraged to secure their slots early.
Milo Malaysia business executive officer Ng Su Yen said the initiative reflects the brand’s continued efforts to support healthier lifestyles among Malaysians.
“As Malaysia’s most-loved homegrown beverage, Milo continues to play an active role in nourishing Malaysians and supporting communities in leading healthier, more active lives while reinforcing the importance of building healthy habits every day,” she said.
“We are excited to bring back the Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day, which reflects Milo’s ongoing commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and good nutrition throughout the nation,” she added.
Since its inception in 2013, Milo Malaysia Breakfast Day has attracted more than half a million participants nationwide.
Organisers said the event not only promotes physical activity but also highlights the importance of starting the day with proper nutrition.
Participants can take part in a 3km run available at all locations, making it accessible to families, children and first-time runners. The Putrajaya finale will also feature a 5km category for those seeking a greater challenge.
Apart from the run, attendees can look forward to group workout sessions, sports challenges, interactive games and family-friendly engagement stations designed to encourage active living and togetherness.
The event will also showcase the Milo Goodness Truck, featuring a 360-degree immersive experience showcasing how Milo is made, as well as the brand’s heritage and values.
Milo said the event will also feature Friends of Milo, actors Nadhir Nasar and Erysha Emyra, who will help inspire young Malaysians to embrace active lifestyles and pursue their ambitions.
The campaign also highlights Milo’s nutritional offering, made from ingredients such as barley malt, milk and cocoa, and noted that the beverage was the first malted drink in Malaysia to receive the ‘Healthier Choice Logo’ accreditation.
