MetMalaysia: Continuous rain expected in Sarawak, Sabah, Johor

A notice posted on its website said continuous rain is expected to occur in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah in Sarawak. – Bernama photo

KUCHING (Dec 17): The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for Sarawak and Sabah effective Dec 19 until 22.

A notice posted on its website said continuous rain is expected to occur in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu and Mukah in Sarawak.

In Sabah, continuous rain is expected in the West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat.

The alert-level continuous rain warning is also issued for Johor in Mersing and Kota Tinggi.

The public can get the latest weather information through MetMalaysia’s official website and social media, or the myCuaca mobile application, as well as the MetMalaysia hotline 1-300-22-1638.
