KUCHING (Jan 14): The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for Sarawak, Sabah, and Johor from Jan 16 to 19.
In a notice issued at 2pm today, MetMalaysia stated that Sarawak is expected to experience continuous rain from Jan 16 to 18, potentially impacting areas such as Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), and Bintulu.
In Sabah, continuous rain is forecast from Jan 16 to 17 in the West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat.
Meanwhile, Johor may experience continuous rain from Jan 17 to 19, particularly in Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru.
