KUCHING (Feb 23): SJK Chung Hua (CHPS) No. 5 Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) members have brought Lunar New Year cheer to residents of selected charitable organisations here.

Led by senior assistant for co-curriculum Vun Huey Ni and MRC Sarawak Chapter disaster management chairman Chew Kim Soon, the school’s MRC members visited Hun Nam Siang Tng, House of Joy, and Kota Sentosa Hospital yesterday.

“MRC CHPS No. 5 members brought joy and happiness to the residents of these charitable organisations. They gave angpows and goodies to them,” said a press release today.

CHPS No. 5 headmistress Chin Mui Ling thanked teachers, parents, pupils, and Gocanyes Bakery for their contributions.
