JOHOR BAHRU: Sultan Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar disambut lebih 3,000 rakyat pada majlis Jamuan Teh Bersama Rakyat Mersing dan Kota Tinggi di Stadium Mersing, hari ini.

Menurut satu hantaran menerusi Facebook rasmi Sultan Ibrahim, keberangkatan baginda disambut dengan suasana meriah selain diserikan dengan pelbagai persembahan kebudayaan.

Sakdiah Abd Rahman, 65, yang pertama kali hadir ke majlis berkenaan teruja melihat sambutan rakyat terhadap baginda.

“Menjunjung kasih Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Johor kerana menjemput kami, rakyat ke majlis ini. Sesunguhnya patik amat bertuah kerana baginda adalah seorang Sultan yang amat dekat di hati rakyat.

“Patik mendoakan Tuanku Sultan dipanjangkan umur serta sentiasa dikurniakan kesihatan baik,” katanya menerusi hantaran itu.

Menurut hantaran berkenaan, majlis itu turut dihadiri Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Johor Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani, Pegawai Daerah Kota Tinggi Datin Paduka Hazlina Jalil dan Pegawai Daerah Mersing Mohammed Shakib Ali. -Bernama
