KOTA BHARU (May 28): Health supplement brand VitaHealth has officially launched its ‘Pilih Halal, Pilih VitaHealth’ initiative, aimed at strengthening consumer confidence through its comprehensive range of Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim)-certified halal health supplements.
The campaign launch, held at Atas Cafe in Kota Bharu on last Wednesday, highlighted VitaHealth’s commitment to maintaining strict halal governance throughout its entire value chain, from raw ingredient sourcing and formulation to manufacturing, packaging, and logistics.
The event was officiated by VitaHealth (Malaysia & Singapore) chief executive officer Dr KS Beh and Watsons Malaysia trading director Foo Hwei Jiek. Also present were Kelantanese Dikir Barat singer Mohamad Hafizzudin Md Yusof and Islamic preacher Muallim Muda Shamsul Aiman.
Speaking at the launch, Dr Beh said the initiative reflects VitaHealth’s responsibility to uphold halal integrity at every operational level.
“Halal is not solely about religious observance. It is a globally recognised benchmark of safety, cleanliness, transparency, and rigorous quality control,” he said.
“These uncompromising standards provide peace of mind not only to Muslim consumers, but also to all Malaysians who prioritise product safety and efficacy.”
VitaHealth’s commitment to Halal excellence was recently recognised when the company received the Platinum SOBA Best Halal Product Award, further reinforcing consumer trust in the brand and its dedication to safety, transparency, and product integrity.
With more than 70 years of consumer trust, VitaHealth offers a wide range of Jakim-certified Halal supplements designed to support various life stages and health needs.
The company said it continues to strengthen its position as a trusted health partner for Malaysians through rigorous quality control and compliance with Halal and regulatory standards.
The campaign also marks a strategic collaboration between VitaHealth and Watsons Malaysia to improve nationwide accessibility to certified halal supplements amid growing demand for premium health products that align with consumers’ values.
Watsons Malaysia managing director and chief operating officer of Health & Beauty Asia, AS Watson Group, Caryn Loh said the retailer remains committed to providing trusted and accessible halal-certified health solutions to consumers.
“As the No.1 health and beauty retailer, Watsons is committed to building a trusted retail environment that prioritises quality, transparency and consumer confidence,” she said.
“Our collaboration with VitaHealth reflects our shared responsibility to provide accessible halal-certified health solutions that meet the evolving needs of Malaysian consumers.”
The VitaHealth halal-certified supplement range is now available at Watsons stores nationwide, providing Malaysians with convenient access to reliable daily wellness solutions.
