MIRI (Feb 19): A total of 736 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders from Sabah are expected to reach Limbang by Thursday evening to address the ongoing supply shortage in northern Sarawak.
Limbang Division Resident Yunus Tambi confirmed that as of Tuesday (Feb 18), there was no available LPG supply or stock in Limbang.
“To overcome this, a total of 736 LPG cylinders will arrive here tomorrow evening (Thursday) from Sepanggar Bay, Sabah,” he told reporters today.
Meanwhile, an LPG supplier in the division, Apau Patrick, noted that the cylinders might only reach Limbang by tomorrow evening due to transportation capacity constraints.
