KUCHING (Nov 25): A delegation from the Small and Medium Enterprises Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp) paid a courtesy call on Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar at the Astana here today.
The delegation, led by SME Corp chairman Tan Sri Bernard Giluk Dompok, briefed the Head of State on the success of its development programmes, including key initiatives that support Sarawak’s goal of achieving developed-state status by 2030.
“This visit aims to acknowledge the success of collaborations with ministries, agencies, departments, and associations involved in the development of the SME sector.
“It also underscores our hope to strengthen cooperation for the implementation of both domestic and international programmes in the future,” Bernard said when met by reporters following the courtesy visit.
Joining Wan Junaidi in welcoming the delegation was wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
Also present were SME Corp chief executive officer Rizal Nainy, chief operating officer Mohd Izham Abdullah, and Sarawak branch director Julyskristin Poly.
